A huge thank you to everyone who came to the National Quilt Championship at Sandown Race Course last weekend. Over three days we had all hands on deck! The Colouricious stand was a lively corner of the show with a 'free for all' block printing demo table. There was a constant stream of people keen to give block printing a go, learn some of the basics and print their own fabric to take away with them.
Also, a huge congratulations to Holly and Jamie for setting up the stand on Thursday. They both spent the day decorating a beautiful backdrop made entirely out of block printed fabrics and special Colouricious block printed bunting made by Vicky Morris- thank you Vicky! We had four tables showing off our extensive range of wooden printing blocks and one off vintage blocks sold exclusively offline. On the Colouricious stand the whole Inspired DVD range took pride of place. We had a TV showing off a DVD or two.
With every purchase, customers joined the Colouricious Club, putting their names on our mailing list in hope to win a copy of a Colouricious DVD of their choice! The winner is to be announced in an up and coming newsletter.
Another exciting event at Sandown was an invitation by Justhands-on.tv. JustHands were there filming the event, and asked Colouricious if their would feature! We lead a mini block printing demo exclusively for JustHands. Look out for our featured video, we shall post the link shortly.
